A crunchy salad I like to serve with barbecues. You can use any sort of nuts and they can be raw or roasted. If salted, don't add the extra salt in this recipe.
- 1-1/2 cups grated carrots
- 1 cup sultanas
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- combine the carrots, sultanas, celery and nuts in a serving bowl
- mix the mayonnaise, sugar and salt
- add the mayonnaise to the salad and mix well.
