Pasta Salad


  • 1 (500g) packet macaroni (or other pasta such as shells or spirals)
  • 1/2 bunch radishes, rinsed and sliced thinly
  • 2 spring onions, trimmed and sliced including some green tops
  • 4 stalks celery, trimmed and chopped finely
  • 1/2 red capsicum chopped finely (optional)
  • 1/2 cup whole egg mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp seeded mustard
  • 1 tab sugar
  • salt to taste


  1. In a small bowl or jug, mix mayonnaise, mustard and sugar
  2. check for seasoning and add salt to taste - set aside for flavours to blend and sugar to dissolve
  3. bring a large saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil
  4. add the pasta and cook per instructions on the packet or until al dente
  5. rinse in a colundar under cold water and drain - set aside
  6. in a large bowl, combine all the ingredients together
  7. cover and chill in the refrigerator until required.
